From the 31st of March until the 2nd of April, Adrian and I went to Poland specially in Krakow and the concentration camp Auschwitz organized by the International Student Club from the CTU.
The Friday 31st of March, we’re supposed to take our bus at 5:30 a.m. but the organizers made a little mistake and booked our travel for the end of April instead of the end of March. So we took our bus at 9 a.m. The travel in the bus was pretty calm and lasted seven hours. We arrived there and we discovered our youth hostel with the others travelers welcomed with a typical polish lunch. Then we rapidly made a tour of the beautiful city of Krakow before the party.
The following day, we went to the most famous concentration camp in the world : Auschwitz. It was very interesting even when you come here, you have this feeling about knowing that over 1.1 millions jews were killed in this camp.
The Sunday 2nd April, for our last day, we went to salt mines but it was forbidden to take any photo. It’s a huge cave based with different kinds of salt but not only. Inside the mine, we can find a lot of salt sculptures and even an enormous chapel inside.
After the visit, we came back to Prague with the same bus. During the trip, all the travelers met all together and a big group of friend is made. So when we came back to Prague by bus, the ambiance was totally different than at the beginning. Indeed, the organizers gave us some vodka inside the bus and we all have some alcohols with us so there is like a party into the bus, it was incredible !!
